What are the benefits of a natural candle?

We understand the essence of a candle is the scent throw but there are many candles on the market that contain paraffin and other toxic chemicals that may deliver a stronger scent but the chemicals that you are breathing in may not be good for you in the long-run. Our candles are made with natural non-toxic and eco-friendly ingredients such as coconut, soy, beeswax, and pure essential oils that purifies the air and has aromatherapy benefits. An added bonus - a sustainable smokeless crackling wooden wick.

How do I maintain my candle?

Wooden Wick:

Keep the wooden wick trimmed to about 1/4 of an inch each time before burning to prevent carbon build up which causes black soot, uneven burning, and the flame from burning inconsistently.

Wax:

Burn the candle between 2-4 hours at a time to prevent uneven tunneling and keep the wax lasting longer. On average, the 3 oz. candle lasts about 15-20 hours and the 10 oz. candle lasts about 45-60 hours burn time. Make sure the first burn is always to a full melt pool (wax melted to the edge of the jar). Do not burn candle wax all the way to the bottom.

Lighting:

It is recommended to light candle the candle with a match or lighter by turning it upside down right then lighting it right under the wick then flipping it right side up as soon as it lights. Keep the flame away from the sides of the container to prevent the glass from burning and turning black. Note: Wooden wicks may need to re-lighted for the first burn.

Is the option for customizing candles available?

Yes. We can customize specifically for special occasions, such as weddings, baby showers, etc. A minimum order of 50 candles is required - email us for customization pricing + options. Pre-orders must be placed at least 21-30 days in advance to allow preparation.
